Accountant Pages (accountantpages.com.au) is operated by The Trustee for Blomley Family Trust (ABN 92 894 551 478) ("we", "us", "our"). This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect personal information. We aim to handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
Business listing information. To build our directory, we collect information about accounting, tax and bookkeeping businesses from publicly available sources, such as Google Business Profiles and businesses' own websites. This is mainly business information (business name, address, phone number, website, opening hours, services, photos, logos, ratings, reviews and awards), but it can include personal information, such as the name of a business owner or sole trader, or the names of people who have written public reviews.
Information you give us. When you fill in a form on our website, subscribe to a plan, or contact us, we collect the information you provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, business name, suburb, website and any message or files you send.
Payment information. Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider (Stripe), through our customer management platform. We do not receive or store your full card number. We receive limited details such as your name, email, the plan you purchased and the payment status.
Website usage information. When you visit the website, our hosting provider and any analytics tools we use may automatically collect technical information such as your IP address, browser type, pages viewed and the date and time of your visit. Forms embedded on our website are provided by our customer management platform and may use cookies.
We use personal information to:
Public listings. Business listing information is published on the website and can be seen by anyone.
Service providers. We use trusted third-party providers to run our business, and share information with them only as needed for them to provide their services to us. These include our website host (Netlify), our customer management and email platform (GoHighLevel, provided through Growthflow), our payment processor (Stripe), and our email provider.
Legal reasons. We may disclose information where required or authorised by law.
We do not sell personal information.
Some of our service providers store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States. Where we disclose personal information overseas, we take reasonable steps to make sure it is handled in a way that is consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.
We may send businesses emails or messages about Accountant Pages and our plans. We only do this in line with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth), for example where you have given consent or where your business publishes its contact details and our message is relevant to your business. Every marketing message identifies us and includes a way to unsubscribe. You can opt out at any time by using the unsubscribe link or contacting us.
If you represent a listed business, you can ask us to correct, update or remove your business's listing (including any personal information in it) using our Update your Listing page or by contacting us. We will act on reasonable requests promptly.

You can ask to access the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by contacting us. We will respond within a reasonable time, usually within 30 days. In limited cases permitted by law, we may decline a request and will tell you why.
Our website and embedded forms may use cookies and similar technologies to make them work and to help us understand how the website is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings, although some features (such as our forms) may not work properly if you disable them.
